UNDERGRADUATE NURSING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP- INDIA
GINA Scholarship-USA
Georgia Indian Nurses Association (GINA) grants $300.00 scholarship to two eligible undergraduate or associate degree nursing students from the State of Georgia in USA during the GINA Nurse’s Day celebration every year.
How It Works
1. To be considered for the GINA scholarship, you must apply for it by April 20, 2026
2. Currently enrolled in a state-approved Associate Degree, Diploma, baccalaureate, or post-basic B.Sc. Nursing Program
3. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.
4. One letter of recommendation from the faculty/instructor
5. Students must have at least one more year to complete the nursing program
6.Please describe in 300 words or less the reason for choosing nursing and your future professional goals after completing the program.
To Get Started
Submit the completed application form along with the required documents by April 20, 2026, to the GINA president and include (cc) the following email IDs: ginausapresident@gmail.com (GINA President), ginascholarship2023@gmail.com (Chair- Award and Scholarship Committee).

4. 250-to-300-word essay on “Why did you choose nursing?”
5. Complete the Photograph and Biodata Release Form
Decision
The scholarship recipient will be notified by the awards and scholarship committee chair.

GINA Scholarship- INDIA
The Georgia Indian Nurses Association (GINA) grants a $300.00 scholarship to two eligible undergraduate, diploma, or associate degree nursing students from India during the GINA Nurse’s Day celebration every year.
Selection Criteria
1. Currently enrolled in a state approved Associate Degree, Diploma, Baccalaureate or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program
2. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.
3. One letter of recommendation from the faculty/instructor
4. student must have at least one more year to complete the nursing program.
For nursing students (from schools of nursing and colleges of nursing) in India, an equivalent of a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher is required. The date of receiving applications starts in March, and the deadline for submission of applications with all the required documents is April 20, 2026. The chairperson of the GINA Awards & Scholarship Committee will notify the award recipient two (2) weeks before Nurses Day. The scholarship recipient’s name will be announced during the GINA Nurses Day celebration, and the scholarship fund will be transferred to the recipient’s bank account.

– Why did you choose nursing?
-Family background and financial status
– Professional goals after completing the nursing program (examples: higher education in nursing, teaching, bedside, leadership role, etc.).
